Common Questions

How can prices be so low?
We leverage our network to negotiate bulk pricing from high-quality NABL diagnostic centers, passing 100% of the savings to our patients.
When will I get the report?
Most reports are delivered digitally via WhatsApp/Email within 12 to 24 hours of the scan.
Is fasting required for the scan?
For plain scans, fasting is generally not required. For contrast-enhanced scans (CECT/CEMRI), 4-6 hours of fasting is mandatory.
What is the main difference between MRI and CT?
MRI uses strong magnetic fields and radio waves to image soft tissues, nerves, and ligaments without radiation. CT scans use X-rays to provide detailed images of bones, lungs, and acute injuries, and are generally much faster than MRI.
Can I have an MRI if I have metallic implants?
It depends on the type of metal. Modern titanium implants are often safe, but older pacemakers, cochlear implants, or certain clips are strictly prohibited. Always inform the technician about any implants before entering the MRI room.
Are CT scans safe during pregnancy?
CT scans are generally avoided during pregnancy due to X-ray radiation. MRI is often preferred as a safer alternative if imaging is essential, but you must consult your doctor first.
Is the contrast dye safe for everyone?
Contrast dye is safe for most, but a Blood Urea/Creatinine test is mandatory before the scan to ensure your kidneys can process it. People with severe allergies or asthma should inform the lab in advance.
How long does an MRI scan take?
Depending on the body part and complexity, an MRI can take anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes. You will need to remain perfectly still during this time to ensure clear images.
